Service Features

CNIC offers several service features to our Provider community including:

• On-line access to benefit, eligibility, and claims information
  Simply go to http://secure.healthx.com/provider.asp. Click Provider Sign-Up, agree to the Provider License Statement, and complete the Provider Sign-Up information. Access to the Provider Services will be granted once the request has been reviewed, verified and approved. Within 48 hours, an e-mail notice will be sent to you indicating that Provider On-Line Services access has been approved.

• Automated claims re-pricing
  All claims are routed directly to CNIC. There's no need to send your claims to a network first for re-pricing.

• 40% level of claims auto adjudication
  No need for manual processing.

• 50% level of claims volume transmitted electronically (EDI)
  

• 100% of all provider phone calls are documented in our system for tracking and trending purposes.
  

• CNIC provides an on-line performance "report card" reflecting claims turnaround time, accuracy, etc
