What is a TPA?
CNIC is a Colorado-based Third Party Administrator (TPA). A Third Party Administrator is an administrative firm hired by the employer to administer the benefits of the Plan as outlined in the plan document.
Core services include claims administration, customer service, and enrollment/billing that offers an integrated PPO product to self-funded employers. This means that the PPO network is directly loaded into our system and allows a self-funded employer to sign a single contract with ChoiceNet versus separate contracts with a network and a Third Party Administrator.
